All USB Typewriters (and select conversion kits) now feature a Bluetooth radio, so that you can use your USB Typewriter to type on any Bluetooth-enabled computer, tablet, smartphone, or e-reader. To connect to a new device, hold down the "B" key on your USB Typewriter while plugging it in. A red LED will indicate that your USB Typewriter is searching for a Bluetooth connection. Next, look in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings, and perform a search for new devices to add. Add the device called "USB Typewriter XXXX". The red LED will turn green to indicate that a connection has been established. You will only need to do this procedure once -- after that, your USB Typewriter should connect to that device automatically when in range. However, any time you connect to a new device you will have to follow these steps again.
To power your Bluetooth-enabled USB Typewriter, you must provide power to it. Simply plug the typewriter's USB cable into any USB smart-phone wall charger or phone-charging battery pack.
To disconnect from Bluetooth and return to wired USB mode, hold down the "U" key on your USB Typewriter while plugging it in. The LED will not light, which indicates that Bluetooth is not active.
